SUITABILITY

Horses with Normal to Small Withers (Standard Integrated Panel Version): The standard version of the Versailles with integrated panels is specifically recommended for horses with normal or smaller (less pronounced) withers. The design promotes close contact in this area.

Horses with Average to Defined Back Shapes: The thin, flocked panels can be adjusted to conform well to backs that are relatively straight to moderately curved, providing excellent spinal clearance.

Horses with Changing Shapes: The key strength of any Prestige saddle is its adjustable tree. This makes the Versailles an excellent choice for young horses developing muscle, horses in different stages of training, or those that change shape seasonally, as the saddle can be professionally re-fitted.

Horses Needing Good Shoulder Freedom: The overall design aims to facilitate horse movement, and the adjustability helps ensure the tree isn't impinging on the shoulder.

ABOUT

Adjustable Polymer Tree: Like all Prestige saddles, the Versailles is built on a durable synthetic fiber (polymer) tree that is fully adjustable in width (gullet) by a qualified saddle fitter using a cold press or heat process. This allows for adjustments from 29cm (narrow) up to 37cm (extra-extra-wide), adapting to the horse's changing shape.

Narrow Twist & Medium Deep Seat: It's designed to provide the rider with a narrow and optimum twist, promoting a very close contact feel with the horse. The medium-deep jump seat offers security without being restrictive, aiding in a balanced jumping position.

Integrated or Non-Integrated Panels:

Standard (Integrated Panels): The common version features thin panels that are integrated into the sweat flaps, which enhances the close-contact feel.

Thin Panels: The panels themselves are thin, designed to provide close contact and even weight distribution. Latex foam (often described as having a "memory" to minimize clumping).

Fixed Front and Rear Blocks: Comes with small to medium fixed front and rear blocks, providing support for the rider's leg during jumping.

Quality Leather: Made with high-quality bovine leather, double-oiled, for durability, grip, and a refined look.
