SUITABILITY

Horses with a Medium to Moderate Wither: The X-Change2 gullet system provides good flexibility for width, so it can accommodate various widths from narrow to extra-wide, but the overall tree design typically suits horses with an average or moderate wither profile rather than extremely high or very low, flat withers.

Horses with a Relatively Straight to Moderately Curved Back: The flexible polymer tree and the panel design (though not wool flocked for custom shaping) are generally adaptable to backs that aren't excessively curved or completely flat.

Horses Needing Good Shoulder Freedom: The panel design and general construction aim to provide space for the horse's shoulder movement, which is vital in dressage.

Horses Whose Shape Changes: Due to the easily interchangeable gullet, it's a good option for young horses still developing or horses that fluctuate in condition/muscle over time, as the width can be adjusted by a fitter.

Monoflap Design: This single-flap construction promotes excellent close contact, allowing the rider's leg to be directly against the horse's side without an extra layer of leather.

Flexible DuPont Polymer Tree (DPT): The tree is made from a flexible synthetic material, which is intended to move with the horse's back, promoting comfort and freedom of movement.

X-Change2 System: A crucial feature is the interchangeable gullet system, allowing a qualified saddle fitter to easily change the tree's width to adapt to the horse's changing shape or to fit different horses.

AMS System Panels: The panels are not traditional wool flocked. Instead, they typically use an AMS system, which involves a synthetic wool/polyester blend padding combined with a layer of technical neoprene. This system is designed for good pressure distribution, memory functionality, and shape retention, aiming to prevent pressure sores.

Deep Seat & Optimal Balance: The seat is shaped to place the rider in a deep, balanced position, encouraging an effective dressage posture without restricting movement.

V-Girthing System: The girthing is often a V-system, designed to stabilize the saddle evenly on the horse's back.
