Horses with Defined Withers: The Stubben steel spring tree is often a good match for horses with average to slightly higher withers. While the gullet is adjustable by a saddle fitter, the inherent shape of the tree works well for horses with some wither definition.

Horses Needing Good Spinal Clearance: The divided panels are a significant advantage for horses that need ample room along their spine, reducing pressure and promoting comfort.

Horses with Medium to Slightly Curved Backs: The wool-flocked panels are highly adaptable and can be molded by a saddle fitter to conform precisely to a variety of back shapes, from relatively flat to moderately curved.

Horses Needing Shoulder Freedom for Dressage: The short front panel rib allows for close contact and can be beneficial for horses whose shoulder movement might otherwise be restricted by a longer flap, promoting greater freedom through the shoulder.

Horses Whose Shape Changes (with professional adjustment): The adjustable gullet (tree width) means this saddle can be professionally widened or narrowed to accommodate a horse's natural changes in muscling or condition over time.

Close Contact Design: A key innovation of the Genesis line is its emphasis on close proximity between the horse and rider. This is achieved through features like a short front panel rib and a hinged knee roll. This design allows the sweat flap to lie very close to the horse, enhancing communication.

Deep, Unrestricting Seat: The saddle inherits its "extremely deep, but in no way restricting seat" from Stubben's Maestoso series, providing a secure and comfortable foundation for the dressage rider.
