Key Features and Design:

Deep, Unrestrictive Seat: The Maestoso de Luxe typically features a distinctly deep seat that offers security and support to the rider. However, it's designed not to be overly restrictive, allowing the rider to find their optimal position and maintain freedom of movement. 

Narrow Twist: Many riders, particularly female riders, appreciate the narrow twist of this saddle, which can contribute to a more comfortable and closer feel of the horse.

Straight Cut: This design is intended to offer the horse maximum freedom in the shoulder, promoting optimal movement in all three gaits.

De Luxe Leather: The "de Luxe" designation signifies the use of high-quality, double-grained, grippy, and super-soft leather. This enhances rider comfort and grip. Full-grain cowhide is used.

Close Contact: The overall design, including the panel shape and sometimes a short front panel rib, aims to provide a close contact feel, allowing for subtle communication between horse and rider.

Wool Flocked Panels: Wool flocking offers breathability and the ability to be adjusted by a saddler to achieve a precise fit for the horse. Panels are compact in length and upswept, suiting many horse types.

Stubben Spring Tree: Stubben saddles are built on their renowned "Spring Tree," which is designed to be flexible and move with the horse's back while also protecting the wither and spine.

Knee Rolls: The Maestoso de Luxe has knee rolls to support the rider's leg. 

Biomex Seat: Stubben's Biomex seat technology. This is a special seat design with raised pads intended to relieve pressure on the rider's lower spine and sensitive tissues, enhancing comfort during and after riding.

Suitability:

Horse: The straight cut and panel design aim to provide good shoulder freedom. The upswept panels can suit horses with shorter backs. As with any saddle, individual fit is crucial, and it's often recommended for horses with small to medium curved backs and small to medium withers.

Rider: Riders who prefer a deep seat with a narrow twist and good support from the knee rolls often appreciate this model. The less restrictive deep seat allows riders freedom to position themselves effectively.
