Prominent Withers: This saddle generally fits horses with moderate to high withers well, as the tree shape and panel configuration provide ample clearance.

Curvy Topline: The shape of the NT spring tree is designed to follow the contours of a horse with some curve to its back. It may not be the best choice for horses with a very straight or flat back.

Uphill Build: The overall design and balance of the saddle complement a horse that is naturally built uphill, with a wither that is higher than the croup.

Average to Narrower Build: While adjustable, the general design of the tree tends to favor horses that are not excessively wide.
