KEY FEATURES:
Adjustable "Exclusiv" Tree: The Malmö is typically built on Kieffer's "Exclusiv" saddle tree. Unlike saddles with interchangeable gullet plates, this tree is made of a glass-fiber reinforced synthetic material that can be professionally adjusted in both width and angle by a qualified saddle fitter using a specialized cold or infrared press. This allows the saddle to be re-fitted multiple times to accommodate changes in a horse's shape.
Deep Anatomical Seat: The saddle features a deep, anatomically shaped seat designed to help the rider achieve a correct and stable position without being overly restrictive.
V-Shaped Girthing System: The saddle often has a flexible V-shaped or "V-suspension" girthing system. This design helps to distribute the pressure of the girth more evenly across a broader area, enhancing stability and reducing the chance of the saddle moving forward or backward.
Wool Flocked Panels: The panels are filled with 100% natural wool. This is a key feature as wool flocking is highly moldable and allows a saddle fitter to make precise, custom adjustments to the panels to ensure an optimal fit and even pressure distribution on the horse's back.
Fixed Knee Rolls: fixed, flat knee rolls positioned under the saddle flap. These provide support for the rider's leg without forcing them into a rigid position.
